{"product_id":"peter-in-the-navy-50cl","title":"Peter In the Navy 50cl","description":"Navy Strength Gin has ancient origins. Long before it was possible to measure the alcohol by volume of a drink, the Royal Navy faced this problem: making sure that gunpowder remained flammable even if a cask of gin broke during transport. In the days of cannonballs and muskets, in fact, wet gunpowder represented a death sentence in battle. The label \"Navy strenght\" indicated the safe spirit to be carried on Navy ships and was affixed only to barrels that passed the empirical test: after dipping a few grains of gunpowder in gin, one would try to set them on fire. Navy measurement continued until 1890 and still indicates a distillate with an alcohol content above 57.15 percent.","brand":"peterinflorence","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44155032273160,"sku":"NY050A","price":57.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0680\/1080\/3464\/files\/Group9.jpg?v=1692889611","url":"https:\/\/peterinflorence.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/peter-in-the-navy-50cl","provider":"Peter in Florence","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
